Who we are

Heimo is a Finnish online community with the mission to enable people to help one another and help solve peoples’ mental health problems across the globe. Earlier we built the largest social media services in the Nordic area, Suomi24 and IRC-Galleria. Heimo was established in 2014 with a focus on changing the way people receive help related to mental health issues, helping solve the largest  challenge to people’s wellbeing.

What we do

Heimo is building an online community where peers help one another. Any individual can find someone else who has gone through the same challenges in their life as they might be facing now. No help is more meaningful than compassion and empathy and the best provider of that help can be someone who has earlier solved those same challenges themselves.

With Heimo any participant is free to join a tribe (discussion group) or create their own new tribe. Participants can influence the creation of the tribes and become maintainers of their tribe. Heimo is an online community where people can meet one-to-one, or in larger groups, in peace and without fear of shame. Heimo is easy-to-use and anonymous, the administrator does not limit the topics people can discuss.

What we are looking for

We are looking for accelerators and investors that can help us to build a global community. We need also influencers, organizations and associations to help further accelerate the growth in our user base we have achieved so far.
