Lojer aiming to be largest foreign supplier of hospital equipment to Russia
”Russian customers appreciate the quality, functionality and durability of Finnish hospital equipment,” explains Lojer’s Managing Director Ville Laine. “We have supplied hospital beds and equipment to the Kremlin Clinic in the past. Users have been very happy with the products, which has led to this sizeable further order. The deal is worth over a million euros.”
Founded in 1957, the Central Clinical Hospital of the Administrative Department of the President of the Russian Federation has 1200 bed places. Located in Moscow, the hospital treats around 50,000 patients every year. The nickname Kremlin Clinic has its roots in the early days of the hospital, when it served the country’s administrative staff, officials and the political elite of the Soviet-era. A refurbishment of the hospital is currently under way and will be completed next year.
